This guide covers a backup way to connect to the Emerson VPN using the Cisco IPsec client built into macOS, iPhone, and iPad. Use this method only if GlobalProtect is unavailable or if the Help Desk has directed you here. For normal use, connect with GlobalProtect by following our standard VPN guide.
Note
This backup method is available on Mac, iPhone, and iPad only. There is no equivalent built-in option on Windows. Windows users should connect with GlobalProtect using our standard VPN guide.

- You will need Duo set up on your phone so you can approve a push notification when you connect.
