Getting Started (Desktop App)

First, verify that your device meets the system requirements. Once that's done, here’s how you get started:

  1. Download the App

Go to emerson.zoom.us and click Download. Under Zoom Client for Meetings, click Download, and then open the downloaded Zoom package.

  2. Install Zoom

In the Install Zoom window, click Continue. Zoom will install itself and then open.

  3. Sign in

Once Zoom is opened, select Sign In, then Login with SSO. If it says Find company domain by email address, select Manually enter domain. Enter "Emerson" into the text field and click Continue. Then sign in with your Emerson username and password.

  4. Open Zoom App

A pop-up window will ask Open zoom.us? Click Open zoom.us. If Zoom doesn't open, click Launch Zoom in the browser window.

  5. Join a Meeting

In the Zoom app window, select Join to enter an existing meeting, or follow the invite or Zoom link you received from the Host to join that meeting.

  6. Create a Meeting

To start an instant meeting for others to join, select either Start with video or Start without video. Share screen. To create a future meeting, select Schedule. Once the meeting starts, choose an audio conference option, and select/unmute your mic, speaker, and camera in the bottom left.
