Connecting Wireless Networks with Google Chromebook (Boston)

Connecting your Chromebook to the eduroam network requires a one-time setup. After these steps, your Chromebook will connect automatically wherever eduroam is available.

  1. Run updates on ChromeOS.
  2. Click the WiFi icon in the lower right corner of the desktop.
  3. Select eduroam.
  4. Under EAP Method, select PEAP.
  5. Under EAP Phase 2 authentication, select MSCHAPv2.
  6. Under Server CA certificate, select Do not check.
  7. In the Identity field, enter your Emerson email address.
  8. In the Password field, enter your Emerson password.
  9. Click Connect.

** You may need to restart your device for all settings to update
