WELCOME TO THE PARAMOUNT SOUNDSTAGE
The PARAMOUNT SOUNDSTAGE is space for creating narrative visual media of all forms. From Narrative Drama, Documentary Interviews, and Music Videos to whatever you can imagine. The Paramount Soundstage is an ever-evolving blank template that can house whatever your ambitions can create.
Working on the soundstage must be approached professionally and responsibly because the ambitious goals of any production must come with a respect for the potential hazards that arise. Therefore, it is important that the students are using creative problem-solving skills, diligent preparations, and an open mind to solutions while working on the soundstage.
It is the responsibility of all above the line and below the line crew members to familiarize themselves with the reservation procedures, rigging techniques, electrical systems, and the proper use of all equipment on the Soundstage.
Soundstage Technical Support Staff will be happy to assist with any questions about electrical systems, safety questions, rigging suggestions, set building, and equipment operations. Individual or group Tutorials, as well as Soundstage Safety Training workshops are available upon request, and practice time on the various pieces of equipment can be scheduled when the facility is not in use.
Professionalism extends beyond preparation and execution of set knowledge and into the practical relationships you build with the soundstage management, soundstage staff and your own crew. Remember every member of the process plays an important role in the success of your project. The Soundstage staff is here to help make your project run as smoothly as possible by helping take the logistical stress out of the process and bolstering your confidence in the decisions that you need to make your project a success.
