Monitor Calibration

Monitors in 703

  • To calibrate the Eizo monitors in the PEL, you first need to turn on all the lights in the room and close the blinds to the windows. Make sure that the monitors have been on for about 20 - 30 minutes prior to running the calibration.
    • The calibration takes into account the ambient lighting, and it's best for the light to be consistent and non-changing during calibration.
  • There is a series of buttons on the bottom right side of the monitor. Click the button next to the power button twice.

  • Once the calibration is complete, there are a couple of things you need to check.
  • Check that the Color Profile is set to AdobeRGB.
    • Do this by clicking on the button next to the power button twice. This will open a menu.
    • Scroll to Color
    • The Color Mode should be Adobe RGB. If it is not, click the check mark and scroll to the correct profile.
    • The Brightness should also be set to 100cd/m2. If it is not, scroll to highlight the brightness, click the check mark and adjust accordingly.
  • Make sure every monitor has the same settings.
