How to Setup the PEL Projector
Using the Computer at the Teacher Station
- Power on the projector with the white remote. Two of the lights on the projector should start blinking green. After pressing the power button, give the projector a minute or two to power on. You should eventually see a Blue screen with Panasonic on the screen.
- Once it's powered on, make sure the HDMI cable is connected to the TS Computer. (Image below)
- Make sure the HDMI Switcher is powered on and that you have selected HDMI Input 1
- If you are having issues with your audio, check that you have the correct output. Go to System Preferences→Sound→Output and select Headphone Port
Using a Personal Laptop
- Power on the project with the white remote. Two of the lights on the projector should start blinking green. After pressing the power button, give the projector a minute or two to power on. You should eventually see a Blue screen with Panasonic on the screen.
- Use the HDMI cable underneath the desk. (You will likely need an adaptor for a newer Apple laptop.)
- If you need audio, use the headphone jack to plug into your laptop.
- On the HDMI Switcher, make sure it is powered on and that you have selected HDMI Input 4.
- If you are having issues with audio, you need to check your output. To do this open System Preferences→Sound→Output and make sure your output is set to External Headphones, Headphone port.
