This guide provides step-by-step instructions for attaching a PL lens to the Canon C70. This allows you to achieve superior quality lenses and creative control for high-end filmmaking.

Quick Start Guide
You will need PL mount lens and the Cannon C70 (Vended separately)
First Steps
Remove the kit lens form the C70

Press and hold the lens release button located on the front of the Canon C70.
- Rotate the kit lens counterclockwise until it detaches from the camera body.
- The caps for the adaptor and lens can be found in the C70 bag.
Remove RF to EF adapter

Press and hold the adapter release button on the camera body.

Carefully rotate the adapter counterclockwise to remove it.
- The caps for the adaptor and lens can be found in the C70 bag.
Secure the RF to PL adapter
- Align the RF mount on the camera RF to PL adapter with the top alignment markings on the adapter it's a white dot.
- Gently press the adapter into place, ensuring proper alignment.
- Rotate the adapter clockwise until it locks securely.
Attach a lens to the adapter
- Rotate front element counter-clockwise to remove front cap
- Make sure the adapter has the pin in the top right are exposed
- Align one of the gaps of the lens with the pin then rotate the front element of the adapter closed to secure the lens. *There is no click it is a friction based locking*

Troubleshooting
Q: The lens won't go on the adapter?
A: Make sure it a PL lens and that the adapter is open by rotating the front element counter-clockwise.
Q: Auto focus isn't working?
A: Most PL lens don't have auto focus and the adapter does not support any powered function such as lens information or auto focus.

- Changing a PL lens is a two person job. Attempting to change a lens with this many steps may result in dropping the lens or dust getting on the lens or in the camera system.
