XR Studio UE Project Checklist

  1. Is the correct version of Renderstream-UE plugin inside of the Unreal Engine project directory?

  2. Is the Renderstream plugin enabled in the project?742b90c9.png
  3. (Recommended) Set the Game Default map (under Edit > Project Settings > Maps & Modes) to the level you'd like on the wall/as the virtual set.

  4. Under Project Settings > Plugin Settings > Disguise Renderstream, make sure Scene Selection is set to "Maps".310f118c.png
  5. In your scene, you will want to have a CineCameraActor with a RenderStream Channel Definition component.

  6. Not vital, but feel free to enable Auto-Activate under the Renderstream Channel Definition component.

  7. Before transferring your project, save all (CTRL+SHIFT+S).

  8. Transfer the project via the Project_Dropoff folder on the EML-XR-NAS. Note that your project will appear in disguise Designer bearing the name of the .uproject file.
  9. If you built your scene around the origin (0,0,0) and placed your camera accordingly, chances are that it will appear on the wall approximately correct. Otherwise, you will likely need to adjust your virtual UE camera's position in disguise using a Scene Origin layer.
