If you are submitting for a DCP, you will need to provide the post team with an uncompressed file. Codecs like Apple ProRes and DNxHR are ideal. Compressed codecs like H.264 can not be accepted. Below, you'll find instructions to help export in the proper format.
Premiere Pro
Check your sequence settings!
Confirm that you are using your intended resolution, frame rate, and Audio Settings in your sequence settings before we move on to your export settings. (Note: your resolution and frame rate may vary from those in the screenshots)
Once you confirm your sequence settings, we can export.
Navigate to the Export Tab
Name your file. Please note that submission files should include your name and the name of the film.
Choose a location where your exported file will be saved.
Format: Quicktime
Open the "Video" Dropdown
Video Codec: Apple ProRes 422
Double-check the rest of your video settings. If these are grayed out, it means they are matching your sequence settings.
