Uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus

Guide to uninstall Kaspersky Anti-Virus

If you are running Windows 8, please submit a ticket here. Otherwise continue below.

  1. At the bottom of this page download the 2 uninstall tools.
  2. Once downloaded, Double Click on one of the .msi files to launch the app. It does not matter which one goes first.
  3. Windows will prompt you with a message asking "Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?" Select Yes.
  4. You will then be prompted to accept the EULA terms. Select Accept.

  5. Next, you will be prompted to enter a Captcha. Type the string of numbers and letters exactly as it's shown. Select Remove.

  6. Once finished it will prompt you to restart, Select OK

  7. Now, launch the 2nd .msi file and repeat steps 3 - 5
  8. Once finished it will prompt you to restart, Select OK.

  9. Reboot your computer. 

Once rebooted Kaspersky should no longer be installed on your system, and you should not be experiencing any issues launching applications.
