Emerson's Name Change process allows you to use your preferred name (updated name) instead of your legal first name. This process facilitates the name change on applicable campus systems in a consistent manner.
There are some areas where restrictions could apply to using your legal name. We continue our work to ensure as many systems as possible can accommodate your name change.
