Entertainment and software

You want movies, music, and software, but you don't want to break the bank. You also want to connect your gaming console or smart TV to the internet. We've got you covered!

Xfinity on Campus

On-campus residents have access to Xfinity on Campus to watch live TV shows, movies, and sports, as well as on-demand content. You can learn about how to access it through our guide on Xfinity on Campus.

Itching for some audio? Try free streaming services like Spotify, SoundCloud, Pandora, or iHeartRadio. It's also easy and cheap to buy individual songs and albums from places like the iTunes Store, Amazon Digital Music, or Google Play.

With all these options (and many more out there) there's really no good reason to steal music.

As a full-time student, you can use Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office on your personal computer for FREE. Seriously!

You can also find these suites installed in the computer labs on campus, in addition to any other software titles you'll need for class. If you decide to buy your own, though, you're eligible for educational discounts.

Your Emerson account also gives you access to the Google's G Suite for Education.

Gaming, Smart TVs, etc.

Getting entertainment devices onto a large, secured college network can be trickier than just setting them up at home which is why we wrote our guide on connecting entertainment devices to the network.
